Mealio Cart SDK
Put an Add to my grocery cart button in your recipe app.
Your users fill their own H-E-B, Kroger, Safeway or ALDI cart straight from your recipe, without leaving your app. You own the UI. Mealio does the product search and the cart.
How it works
- 1Your user taps your button
You build the button and the screens. Your server asks Mealio for a short session for that user. No Mealio account, no extra login.
- 2Mealio searches their store
The SDK signs the user in to their grocery store once, on the store’s own page, then searches every ingredient. Choices they made before come back ready.
- 3They pick, the cart fills
You show the options in your own design, or use our drop-in sheet. One call fills their real store cart at their store’s prices.
Built for mobile apps
SDKs for React Native, iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin) and Flutter. The SDK brings its own WebView for store sign-in, so you add one dependency and build nothing else. Websites and blogs use the Send to Mealio button instead.
Stores
33 stores today, and the list grows without you shipping an update.
Your users stay in control
Users choose every product. Mealio only remembers what they chose, for the next time they cart the same recipe. Store passwords never reach Mealio or your app. The SDK will not touch checkout or payment pages, and the user always reviews and checks out on their store.
